Where can I buy your oils?

Our products are available online and in our Solvang store. If you would like a bulk order, contact us at info@solvangoliveco.com.

How long does olive oil last?

Our olive oils have a “Best By” date printed on the back next to the ingredients. Since opening the bottle exposes the oil to air we suggest using it within a few months of opening.

How should I store my oil?

We recommend storing your oil in a cool, dark place, like a pantry or kitchen cupboard, and using your olive oil within a few months of opening the bottle. Our oils are bottled in dark green glass to prevent exposure to light.

Can I bake with olive oil?

You can substitute olive oil for any other oils on a one-to-one basis. Olive oil is also a great substitute for butter when baking. Refer to our suggested substitution equivalents for olive oil.

Can I fry with olive oil?

Yes, the smoke point of good olive oil is high enough to fry food. Try it for a healthy alternative.

Where are your vinegars produced?

Except for the Cask 10 and White Balsamic, all of our vinegars are artisanally produced in California’s Central Coast. Our traditional aged balsamic and white balsamic are produced in Modena, Italy without artificial flavorings, thickening agents, caramel or additives added.

Can I purchase your vinegars in different sizes?

Online and in our retail store we only offer our vinegars in 250ml bottles and 60ml bottles in our sampler gift set. If you are interested in different or bulk sizes please contact us at info@solvangoliveco.com for all available sizes.
