Lemon Seafood Boil

Soak in the last of the summer heat with our recipe for a good old fashion Seafood Boil. The secret to our fantastic summer meal is our Creole Garlic Sauce and Solvang Olive Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Enjoy with a glass of wine and group of friends for some end of summer fun.

  • 16 cups water
  • 2 large lemons sliced
  • 1 medium size yellow onion sliced
  • 3 sprigs fresh Italian parsley
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 3 sprigs fresh dill
  • 6-8 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup of Solvang Olive Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp creole seasoning
  • 3 lbs king crab legs
  • 2 lb jumbo shrimp peeled
  • 1 lb crab claws
  • 4-6 lobster tails
  • 2 lbs andouille sausage
  • 8 ears of fresh corn (quartered)
  • 5 medium potatoes
  • Creole Garlic Sauce
  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 3 tbsp mild hot sauce
  • 1 ½ tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 ½ tsp creole seasoning
  • 2 tsp paprika
  1. Slice up 2 large lemons, and one large onion, add them into an All-Clad 36-Qt pot
  2. Also to the pot add 16 cups of water, Italian parsley, thyme, dill, cloves of garlic, Solvang Olive Lemon Olive Oil, apple cider vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of creole seasoning.
  3. Bring water to a boil, after 10 minutes bring the heat down to medium-high.
  4. Let boil for on the medium-high heat for 30 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat for your broth again, this time to medium. Remove herbs and lemons from broth.
  6. Add in the andouille sausage, and corn. Boil for 15 minutes.
  7. Add potatoes, boiling for 10 minutes.
  8. Add in the crab legs, claws, and lobster tails. Boiling for 15 minutes.
  9. Turn the heat completely off, add the shrimp to poach in the broth with the rest of the seafood boil, letting the boil sit for 10 minutes.
  10. While the seafood boil is sitting, in a saucepan melt down butter.
  11. Reduce the flame to low, combine minced garlic, hot sauce, creole seasoning, and paprika to the melted butter.
  12. Once the sauce thickens after about 10 minutes, pour the sauce over the seafood boil, or use on the side as a dip.
